To protect your brand our expert team will work with you to design and build your own tailor-made version of any of our publications and associated policies and procedures, and forms and checklists, to suit your business needs.
The requirement to produce a temporary works course publication has often been left to the CITB approved tutor with no standardised version produced by CITB like their other SSP courses.
In January 2023, following a CITB update, training providers not already doing so were required to provide a publication for all temporary works course based on their TW trainer reference 02.02 document, now updated to version 02.03.
Post-pandemic, and with ever evolving cyber security due to increased cyber threat, course trainees have generally been provided with links by email or via a website link where they can download documents.
Proving access to publications in this way has varying levels of success due to file sizes and email mailbox limitations, as well as individual company IT policies and security protocols often blocking content preventing delegates from downloading mandatory course publications and other essential resources.
Resolving these issues takes valuable tutor time which can be stressful for both learner and trainer.
In addition, developing, drafting and editing internal policy documents and associated forms is time consuming. You may not have the necessary skills or knowledge or internal capability to draft and complete documents that need to be quality assured and complaint with current legislation and industry best practice guidance.
Note: BS 5975:2019 code of practice for temporary works procedures and the permissible stress design of falsework is being updated and BS 5975:2024 due for release in September 2024.
This website provides a range of CITB quality assured publications, policies and procedures, and forms and checklists suitable for temporary works training course delivery hosted in a user friendly format. All guides are designed to be viewed electronically via a externally hosted platform.
Whilst designed originally for remote learning they can also be downloaded and printed into hard-copy versions for classroom-based learning. Providing classroom learners with electronic devices will save on print and paper costs.
All guides, and associated policies and procedures, and forms and checklists are designed in accordance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, and all associated legislation, CITB learning outcomes specified in scheme of works for all temporary works training courses, comply with CITB TW trainer reference document version 02.03, and are compliant with BS 5975 clauses 5.1.2 and 5.2.1.
