What is the Training Guide?
The Training Guide provides guidance for those attending in-house or CITB accredited temporary works training courses.
It provides an outline of temporary works training, the modules that will be covered, the course programme, and exam guidance and techniques. The Training Guide covers the requirements of CITB’s trainers reference document identifying the learning outcomes that will be achieved by completing tutor-led exercises, cases studies, and self-study workbooks. It covers all CITB’s mandatory and optional exercises. To be eligible for the final exam all mandatory exercises, case studies and workbooks must be completed.
The Training Guide follows CITB’s scheme of works, and the training course syllabus covering the learning outcomes for all CITB temporary works training courses including temporary works coordinator training course (TWCTC) and refresher (TWCTCR) and temporary works supervisor training course (TWSTC).
